| Date 30 November 2004 Review of early estimates of construction output for GDP in 2003 The DTI and Office for National Statistics will publish their final report into the early estimates of construction output for GDP in 2003 on 1st December. The report, to be available at www.dti.gov.uk/construction/stats/index.htm builds on an interim report published on 12 February. It explores why there were revisions to the estimates of construction sector output growth between Quarter One and Quarter 2 2003 and what they were, and looks into the scope for improving these early estimates. The findings of the review, including revised estimates for this period, will be incorporated into the Output and Employment in the Construction Industry Statistical Press Release being published on 3 December by DTI and then in the Quarterly National Accounts First Release being published by ONS on 23 December. |
