	How does the UK perform?
	Internationally the UK lags behind competitor countries in management skills. The International Institute for Management Development finds, across the G7 countries, business executives� perceptions of management quality rank the UK 5th out of 7 behind Canada, the US, Germany and France (Chart 4.4).
