  STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE
with the National Statistics Code of Practice and Protocols

The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform is responsible for collecting, compiling, analysing, and disseminating a range of statistics relating to commerce, trade, energy, employment relations, enterprises and industries.

Some are designated as ‘National Statistics’ (NS) produced in accordance with the arrangements set out in the Framework for National Statistics and in line with the principles set out in the National Statistics Code of Practice and its 12 supporting Protocols. The Department is committed to following the NS code of practice and its associated protocols for the NS series it produces and will make its best efforts to comply with them.
